Strategy, Adventure, Risk!
So on Sunday, Sam Southwick brought his Risk game and a couple of us started to play: Micah, Sam, Ejler, Benjamin, and myself. Benjamin got out first, he was trapped on Japan and Ejler came and ousted him from his heavily fortified position. I owned all of North America and South America, until Ejler came in from Europe and destroyed my hold on both of the continents. In return, I took over Europe and part of Asia. Anyway, I won't bore you with the rest of our game. Lets just say, most of our time was spent rolling dice. Over and over again. [Get it?] Sam had to leave before the game was over so I offered to take it home with me and return in next Sunday.
But anyway, the game ended in . . . Well, what would you call it when all the players quit in rapid succession? So since Sam had to leave, I took the game home yesterday. Now I enjoy thinking up strategies and then defeating those strategies. So that's what I was doing for most of this morning.
And, I took some pictures of my detailed battles. I like thinking extreme, so I put all of the figures on the board. It was awesome! =P [Please deal with all the pictures. I was enthusiastic!]
Witness the might of Europe! In action!
The fearsome Africans in Africa!
Southern Americans in all their shining, blinding splendor!
Camouflaged Asia in Asia!
Hard-working Australians trapped in Australia.
I love this picture!
Alright, that was my morning! Does anyone have any ideas on how to defeat Asia with as little expenses as possible? Just wondering. =P

Thanks. =D
Goodness, David...lol Yeah, I've got an awesome idea. Take your arm and wipe all of the pieces off of the board. Super easy!!! ;) And yeah, cool pictures! I loved the ones with just the background in focus, and the ones in black and white. =)
Ahahaha!! I just love this post! xP SUUUUCH a guy thing. =)
Great pics! =D
Thank you. =D
Thank you. =D
Guy thing? Definitely! =P
I played this game A LOT with my brothers. Actually beat Richard & Destiny awhile back. Boy, were they surprised. There are a few tricks of the trade. But, I'm not going to tell you...just in case I have to play you some day. Besides if I lose then I have to eat humble pie! That's no good!!! The game I had as a kid(you know, back in the day) the single men were wooden blocks about this big square_____, and there were bigger blocks worth 10 men. Oh, the memories for me watching you boys play this the past couple of Sundays. Have a good week.
Thanks for sharing. I'm a little bummed that you aren't going to disclose any secrets, but I understand the reasoning. =D Have a great week!
