Digital Art!
Hey everyone. Sorry about the wait. I keep meaning to sit down and write a blog post but I just never get around to it. Hopefully I'll get another post out by the end of the week.
Anyway, for the past hour I have been drawing. . . on the computer. No, no. Don't worry. I did NOT draw on the screen. I was drawing using a tablet. But here is my work.
If you can't tell. It is a picture of the universe. It is not completely accurate, of course. But it is not our universe. It is my universe. I imagined it. I created it. It is a world of my own created on paper. A human creation. I can try as hard as I can to create the perfect picture, but will fail. For sure. Drawing the universe only heightens my view of our Creator. What an awesome example of glory? My human finite bounds cannot compare with my God's infinite bounds. He knew what color to make the stars. He knew what size to make the planets. He knew what conditions would make it possible for man to live on the earth. He knew. He knows. He also knew the sinful condition of man and his imperfection. He therefore gave up His most precious son to save sinful man from their sin.
I don't know about you, but that is just downright humbling. I have a God who will do all that, so what makes me so hesitant to relinquish an hour every morning to spend in fellowship with Him. That should drive me closer to Him, not farther away. Just my thoughts. Just the gospel.
So I am going to go eat. Have a great rest of your day, everyone. Finally, I have some questions for you. What is your favorite cartoon character? and What would your dream evening be like?
So long.
