Life Lately

Hey everyone! Sorry about not posting in a while, I just haven't taken the time to sit down and write a blog post. Part of that is because I was busy doing push-ups and what not to prepare myself for a epic arm-wrestling contest.

If you haven't noticed, I made a lot of progress. It was definitely worth the effort to watch that bump rise after each exercising session. ;)
But I am really busy. I am trying not to spend as much time on the laptop or computer, but I have to blog every now and then.

My P.E. has started up again and I am finding myself in probably my greatest ministry opportunity. This is one of the many places that needs the gospel, but this place has the most opportunities. Unfortunately, I am finding it very hard to witness to these kids.

I am too scared to confront these kids with the gospel. So I simply try to set an example. Anyway . . .

My grandma showed me and my family a very clever writing that someone put together. Here it is:

Parable of the Good Samaritan
Once there was this man traveling from Jerusalem to Jericho, and he fell among thorns, and the thorns sprang up and choked him. And as he went on, he didn't have any money, and he met the Queen of Sheba, and she gave him 1,000 talents of gold and 100 changes of clothes. And he got into a chariot and drove furiously, and when he was driving under a big juniper tree, his hair caught on a limb of that tree, and he hung there many days, and the ravens brought him food to eat and water to drink, and he ate 5,000 loaves of bread and two fishes.
One night when he was hanging there asleep, his wife came  along and cut off his hair, and he dropped, and fell on stony ground. But he got up and went on, and it began to rain, and it rained forty days and forty nights, and he hid himself in a cave, and he lived on locust and wild honey.
Then he went on 'til he met a servant who said, "Come, take supper at my house." And he made an excuse and said, "No, I won't. I have married a wife, and I can't go." And the servant went out in the highways and in the hedges and compelled him to come in.
After supper, he went on an came on down to Jericho. And when he got there, he looked up and saw old Queen Jezebel sitting down way up high in a window. And she laughed at him. And he said, "Throw her down again." And they threw her down seventy times seven, and of the fragments that remained they picked up twelve baskets full, besides women and children. And they said, "Blessed are the piecemakers." Now, whose wife do you think she will be in the Judgment Day?

This will probably be one of my longer blog posts. But I have plenty to tell.

Today, my mother and I got my mountain bike fixed! If feels so nice to ride a bike my size. I know that you might laugh but I have a silly fact to share with you. I would occasionally lean down and sniff my new bike tires. There it is. They smell good. It is weird, I know, but I have this thing for smelling new things. I love the smell of new shoes, new tires, new candles, or new foods. Especially new foods! But I do not like the smell of medicine. Well, most medicine.

I can smell tonight's dinner, so I'm getting off the laptop.

I am counting the days until my next blog post.

Sleep well everyone! Haha, I had fun with these pictures! =)  Have a great day everyone!

It's very strange that that bump never showed up during your arm wrestling contest...hmm...
Proud of you for stickin' it out with those kids.
And yes, medicine smells terrible. =P

NO WONDER! I thought that I would beat Josh easy, since I had been working out. So I was really surprised when he was a lot stronger that last time.
Thank you!
