A Teenager's Thoughts

This blog is dedicated to sharing with everyone my thoughts on the trials and blessings that come to me. I am going to try to be painfully honest, as much as possible.
Here is my first blog thought: Everything is a blessing. If you think about it, every single thing that happens to us is a blessing. You may say that there are also trials. But when you look at the big picture, those trials are blessings too. You may say that some people aren't blessings. But again, when you look at the big picture, you realize just how much they have affected you, for your good. There might also be opportunities for you to grow through them. God has placed people in our lives, not so that we can think about all their failures and how they are like a thorn in our lives. But so that we can think about how special they are. We are not to judge. Why think about the bad things in others when we could be thinking about the good things in others. Thinking about others' faults only puts us in a bad mood toward them. It also lifts us up, above them. But when we think about others' virtues we are humbled and seek to be more like those people. It is also hard to minister to people when all that we think about is their faults and failures. In order to minister to others, we need to focus on their virtues and good characteristics. So my conclusion is: Make an effort to see the good in others so that you may better bless them.

Change of Plans!

So...because I have more than one blog, I haven't posted as often. Therefore, I am going to now combine both blogs into one blog. This blog. I will just organize in different folders. That hopefully means that  I will post more often. I already have a few posts in my head so I will try to get around to them soon. Expect more soon.

I'm still trying to put the gospel into every blog post. And I'm beginning to realize, anything and everything can be compared to, or applied to the gospel. In fact, I haven't proved my theory wrong yet. Just think about anything that the gospel can't apply to. You should be able to think of a few things, but when you think about whether the gospel can apply to them or not, you realize that it can. Keep that in mind as you go through your day. How does the gospel  apply to this situation? I am fighting to do that the rest of the day. Enjoy your day!

Milestone Productions!!!

I hope you enjoy this trailer of Milestone Productions.

[in one of the clips, I was seen being very opposed to acting, but the truth was: Emily was making us practice over and over in brutal heat]
So this is what I have been officially joined to in the past few weeks. We are determined to produce many films. Already we have pens flying as we create scripts for future projects. So far, we have created one film introducing our main character for most of our movies. It has been fun working together. There is truly no limit to what we can do with willing hands, a video camera, enthusiasm, and a lot of imagination. Recently, Emily and I have been brainstorming ideas for future films. This year, 2012, we hope to accomplish fifteen films, at least. They will be short films about our main character, but they stand as *milestones* of our progress, as we continue in film-making as a family. That what part of why we chose the name Milestone Productions. This marks another page in the history of us kids. I sense something good coming.
In the future, I plan on creating some films that show the gospel being told to unbelievers. This will be great for us and for those watching. Knowing exactly how to talk to people about the gospel is vital for evangelism. What better way than practicing in front of a video camera.
So...I will try to get back later with another blog post, but right now is sorta busy. But, until next blog post, goodbye.
