"Annoying"

Alright, Emily. Here is the "annoying" artwork. =P

Not too detailed. I was rushing a little. But I did have time to invent a new and strangely, abhorrent new hairstyle. After all, how many people have hair that looks like a slinky?

Unicorn Modification!

Awesome!!

Alright, Allison! Here is my awesome piece of art! It still could do with some more work but there it is!

The room looked really dark, so I added a little window in the side. It's amazing how much it brightened up the whole cartoon!

Psst, the black thing on the victim's face is a mask. Maybe I'll change that . . . hmm.

Hope that you likes it! =D

Colorful!

Alright, Bekka. Here is my colorful piece of art. I still need to touch it up, but there is the main idea!

It did take me a good bit of time to figure out what the unicorn might be thinking about. As for the green mane, that would be my weird imagination. Yup, unicorns should have green manes. =D

This project was pretty fun! Can't wait to hear some more adjectives!

Thursday Trifle

Hello ya'll. A few minutes ago I finished another piece of artwork.

I would give you guys some more realism but I find that a LOT harder to color and whatnot. Cartoons are great for me!

So I got another cartooning book from the library Tuesday, on fantasy characters. The big guy above is Hercules, if you couldn't recognize his massive muscles. I'm not sure why I really like to draw characters with huge biceps [no comment, Emily!!].

I also got a desk on Monday! A big oak desk to go in my bedroom! I'll post pictures later! =D

I have a challenge for you guys. Give me an adjective, any adjective, and I'll do my best to draw a cartoon that might portray your adjective. Can't wait! =D

Today's Toons!

Today I experimented with drawing and coloring in Sketchbook Express. It is a LOT easier than dealing with all the layers and whatnot in Photoshop. I'm happy! =P

So check these out!

Which is your favorite?

Recent Cartoons!

Hey everybody! Here are the promised colored cartoons.

By the way, I was not able to figure out the shading yet. Oh well, I'll try again another time. Still, they look pretty cool, huh?
Now who can finish the sentence on the pig cartoon? When Pigs Can _____? =D

Catching Up . . . [Part 2]

Alright. So I promised you guys a post on last week. Well, this should cover the fun parts of last week and bring you up to date.

So last week was a Boys' Week! Me and Jonathan got to just hang out for the week. It was pretty cool!

Monday: We built a fort in the backyard using tarps, picnic blankets, dining room chairs, folding chairs, and a canopy. The shade was SO nice, because I was pretty sweaty after working in the hot sun. So after we finished we just sat in the shade and read good books!

Tuesday: Nothing. I spent nearly all day reading, to finish my Library Reading Log. Overall I spent about 24 hours reading to complete it. Though, as I look back, I wished that I had spent that time with Jonathan rather than on my bed reading.

Wednesday: Jonathan and I filmed a movie, which we're going to have to re-do because of the way it came across when it was finished.

Thursday: Jonathan and I spent a couple hours down at the park. The first time we went down, we rode our bikes. Jonathan discovered how difficult it is to ride a bike in long grass. The second time I pulled Jonathan in our wagon. I managed to make us go about 5 miles an hour. This was probably the funnest day out of the whole week for me!

Then on Friday and Saturday: Mom, Emily, and I went to CHEA so that Emily and I could go to their film camp. I loved it. My favorite session was about screenwriting. I really liked their definition of screenwriting, the different genres, etc. Plus, I enjoyed spending time with Mom and Emily.

The next Monday, the 16th, I don't think that I did anything worthy of mentioning.

The next Tuesday, yesterday, I spent my two hours at the library, volunteering. That was pretty fun.

Today I drew two cartoons which I shall hopefully post sometime tonight. I still need to color them in Photoshop which I need to do on the laptop. So hopefully I will get them on here by tonight. I'm trying to learn how to shade them on Photoshop. It hasn't worked before, but maybe it will today!

So now you are all up to date. I can't believe that this post took three days to post. Expect a post later today!

Catching Up . . . [Part 1]

I am so sorry! I totally have been ignoring this blog and that, my friends, is definitely not polite. I have, for some unknown reason, been dreading having to post. Combine my reluctance to post with a very addicting and yet totally pointless computer game, and you have my situation.
In plain English that would be: I haven't been posting as much as I should because I haven't wanted to and because I was playing a pointless computer games. There you are. Wow! I combined four sentences into one. Impressive? Considering my limited ability and tired brain, yes.

But just because I haven't been posting doesn't mean that I haven't been having a blast! Let's see, I left you guys when I was getting ready for the backpacking trip. Well, I really enjoyed the trip and definitely realized that backpacking isn't a 5-star hotel. But I won't tell you everything that made me realize that, because I might have you in tears. =P No, instead I'm going to list about 10 things that made this backpacking trip the best ever!
1) I was in the company of some of the best dudes EVER!
2) I soaked in the gourmet cooking [especially those mashed potatoes and gravy!]
3) I got plenty of sleep.
4) I "enjoyed" the challenge of the hike.
5) I tried my patience with fishing.
6) I loved "Mountain Goating" with Matty and Josh
7) I really enjoyed making up stories with everyone else.
8) I really enjoyed jumping rocks in the middle of the lake with Josh
9) I found the long ride up there very enjoyable with my buddies
10) I also really enjoyed the scenery from the mountain

So those were the highlights that I remembered. There were many funny moments but that's about it for the back-packing trip.

Also, I'm working at the Huntington Beach Library for this summer. Emily and I are working for the Children's Reading Program on Tuesday's from 1-3pm in the Children's Department. It's so much fun getting to see the variety of people coming through there. I would highly recommend signing up to  volunteer. And if you're in the area on Tuesday from 1-3pm feel free to stop by and say hello!

Now I have been on here for long enough so I think that I shall tap out. Log out, whatever. I want to apologize again for not posting. I would tell you that I plan on posting a lot more, but I think that I'll let my actions speak for themselves.
Look forward to a post on the past week. Don't expect it too soon though. I will be gone for just about all Friday and Saturday. Have a great rest of the day, ya'll! =D
